Nancy died on 9 April 1905; she was 92. Buried in Dowell Family Cemetery, Meade County, KY. They had the following children: i. Highland Mary. Born on 5 September 1837. Highland Mary died on 2 May 1916; she was 78. Buried in Buck Grove Cemetery, Meade County, KY. On 21 November 1855 when Highland Mary was 18, she married William Jennings PRATHER. Second Generation 2. Simeon Horace DOWELL. Born on 30 April 1843 in Meade County, KY. Simeon Horace died in Brookfield, Chariton County, Missouri, on 27 May 1932; he was 89. Buried in Locke Cemetery, Chariton County, Missouri. On 6 October 1864 when Simeon Horace was 21, he married Rebecca Jane HAYDEN, daughter of Daniel F. HAYDEN & Mary Elizabeth [Polly] WALKER, in Meade County, KY. Born on 18 February 1847 in Meade County, KY. Rebecca Jane died in Edgerton, Platte County, MO, on 6 October 1889; she was 42.
