    3. Hi all, Herewith is what I have on Simeon Horace Dowell, just his children. I don't have further descendants, but which I would greatly appreciate to have, if anyone wishes to share. Any additional information to be added to the below would also be appreciated. This is a collateral line of mine. His parents were 2nd cousins to each other. Buried in Locke Cemetery, Mike, Chariton County, Missouri. On 6 October 1864 when Simeon Horace was 21, he married Rebecca Jane HAYDEN, daughter of Daniel F. HAYDEN & Mary Elizabeth [Polly] WALKER, in Meade County, KY. Born on 18 February 1847 in Meade County, KY. Rebecca Jane died in Edgerton, Platte County, MO, on 6 October 1889; she was 42. Buried in Locke Cemetery, Chariton County, Missouri. On 14 February 1889 when Minnie "Effie" was 17, she married David William VEAL. Born on 14 June 1868.
