Can't seem to get back past her father and grandfather - and since there are a lot of Dowells out there just want to make sure I am connecting to the right line. Grandma Florence kept a lot of secrets and took them to her grave. I have a picture of Melvin McSchooler with my Mom & Dad in the 50s. I also have a wooden box that holds my mothers set of silver that Melvin made for her. Beautiful work. My father Charles E. Barnhart, 88 yrs old, son of Florence Dowell McSchooler and James Francis Barnhart is currently suffering from dementia and in a home here in AZ near us.
