She was born in Corydon, Henderson, Kentucky on 22 Aug 1914. She and Clarence had 2 children: Harry Edgar Clair, born 24 April 1935 and Evelyn Dell Clair, born 13 Feb 1939. Aunt Evelyn died 14 Feb 1939 of complications associated with giving birth to her daughter. She is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles.
