I had a great grandpa by the name of John Raymound Dowell.I did know him. He was not my great grandfather by blood. He just married my great grandma. my great grandma was married 4 times. she is still alive, and lives here in virginia with us. They were both from oklahoma. my great grandma from tulsa born and raised, and from what I gather from ray he moved alover oklahoma. I know that he was in ww2 and the Korean war. I know that he had 2 or3 children with his first wife, but when he went off to war she left him, and he never saw his kids again. He was born in 1924 and his mother name was faye dowell, she later changed it to faye davis. I have all his info if this strikes a fire to you.
