My Dowell line has hit a brick wall. My father was Samuel Theodore Dowell and he was born in 1896 or 1898 In Calvert County, Md. He listed his father as George Francis Dowell and his mother as Marion Martha Graves on a birth certificate for one of my sisters. That is all the info we have been able to find. John
