Does anyone have information on the ancestry of Elizabeth Owen(s) who married Peter Dowell around 1748 in Maryland. It has been alleged that she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Owen(s). John Owen(s) is alleged to have been the son of John and Elizabeth (Spicer) Owen(s). Elizabeth may have been the daughter of Edward Spicer. My main problem with the descent is the very young age of the mothers when they reportedly gave birth. Twelve, eleven and even younger. Could happen but.......
