James Isham Dowell..and Frances (Fannie) Dalton (Dowell) had a large family...of which they named a son...Benjamin Franklin Dowell...born Oct 31, 1826...near Ruckersville, Va.. and died March 12, 1897...in Jackson Co., OR...I have more on all of James Isham Dowell's family...which I will send you pronto...Sorry for delay......have been very busy...Too busy...
