Tenn. died 1904 Franklin, Simpson Co, KY. Married to Ellis Hopper Denning b. 1/10/1866 Sumner Co. Tenn. died 3/17/1944 Rotan, TX.) William's father was Martin Van Buren Dowell and his mother was Mahala Ann Graves. William Martin had a brother named Bailey. Bailey lived in Texas around 1900 and when William Martin was shot and killed in a bar fight in Kentucky, Ellis moved to Rotan,Texas in 1907 at the urging of Bailey. any info would be greatly appreciated. chad
