William. H. DOWELL was my greatgrandfather. He was married to Nancy DOWELL. My grandfather, Lorenzo Bernice DOWELL, was born in Meade County, KY onAug. 23, 1857, and died at Laclede, MO., on April 21, 1924. He was the youngest of 12 children. At his death four brothers were still alive and 2 sisters. Simon Horace DOWELL, and older brother of grandpa's was also born in Meade County, KY., on April 30, 1843, and died in Brookfield, MO., He died May 27, 1932.
