I am looking for my g-g-grandmother, Naomi DOVER m: John P. REED and lived in Mt. Home, Arkansas. Looks like they may also have lived in Madison County, MO. I know of the following children: Charles A. b: 1880, Almedia Lucinda b: 25 Dec 1884, Sarah b: 1887 and Linnie Emaline b: 1889. The 1900 Census (don't know if I'm looking at Baxter County, AR or Madison County, MO) shows John P. REED remarried for 5 years to "Mary" with two young children: Martha K. b: 1896 and Dosia E. b: 1898. This would mean that Naomi probably died between 1889 and 1895. My grandmother, daughter of Almedia Lucinda REED, says Naomi's name is "Mioma". I've heard all my life that she was a Cherokee Indian. This is all I know of her. Would love to hear from someone who has access to the 1880 and 1900 Census for these two counties and/or from anyone who may have information on Naomi DOVER or John P. (Pimm?) REED. Thank you..
