Ran across a Dover/Reed connection is some stuff I was looking at yesterday. Theodore William Dover md Nancy Jane Reed. Their first son, Alonzo Mccluir was b in Ohio in 1865. Other children were Sarah Elizabeth 1867, Issac Frank 1869, Daniel Webster 1872, all b in Ohio. 3 other children, Flora Belle 1876, Albert M 1878 and Jesse Clyde in 1879 may have been b in Missouri and Kansas. Nancy was supposed to be one of the first women in the Parliment.
