Circumstantial evidence so far on the DURHAM/William A. DOVER and John Perry PHILLIPS marrying John Dover's grand daughter Caroline Malinda DOVER is at the least "probable" for all those people knowing each other. It's unbelievable when I think about it, but if it's true .... my John Dover knew William A. Dover and very probably Anderson Dover and Jane Cross because they were also in Cherokee County, GA in 1840 when John was there as was the GREEN family. John Dover might have even met and known Francis J. Dover. Doubt Francis spent all his time working in the garden ... had to get out and about; and we know Anderson was well regarded so why not pay a visit to Canton, GA a short 75 miles away. I can feel the responses coming proving chapter and verse why this is absurd. Guess it's time to lock me up and throw the key away :-) It's fun though!
