FYI, my uncle, Emrol Gordon Dover of Bartow County, Georgia (descendant of William Dover and Alanthey Chambers, m. 1842 Hall County) received a purple heart in WWII. He served in the Pacific under MacArthur and survived being shot by a sniper at Guadacanal.
