Andrew "Andy" DOVER is my great grandfather, Clarence Gilbert DOVER is my grandfather and Harold Gilbert DOVER is my father. Grandpa was chief clerk for the Cotton Belt Railroad for 50 years. I now have his gold watch. The Greene County, Arkansas web page just posted some photographs which include the Paragould station where Grandpa worked most of those years. I've been there a number of times. I remember to cigar smoke, the green visor, the elastic arm bands, the hot red sealing wax with the RR seal, the safe and the odor of steam and diesel ... and the Foster Freeze across the street.
