Floyd The way this is laid out is as follows: From the left margin to the first slash mark is the Grantors Name, first slash mark to the second slash mark is the Grantees Name, second slash mark to the third slash mark is the type instrument,(Deed, Mtg, Power of Attorney, etc.), third slash mark to the fourth slash mark is the Book the Deed is in, fourth slash mark to the fifth slash mark is the Page/Pages the Deed is on, and fifth slash mark to the end is the year the Deed was filed. I started this February 23, 1998 and it is taken directly from the Deed Index Books of Rutherford County, NC. I am sure that it will take quite a while to complete the whole thing.
