John Abel Dover had a son Arch R Dover, b. Oct 1880 in Clay Co, AL, who went to Texas (according to my Aunt) and married a Mary Maude Bean out there. He subsequently returned to Clay Co, AL and is picked up again on the 1920 Clay Co, Census, as follows: Dover, Archie R, age 39, married b. AL Wife: Marie M (Census taker spelled all Mary's on that census as Marie), age 25, b. TX. Dau: Alvis H, age 7, b. TX Dau: Emlie A, age 5, b. TX Son: Cluren A, age 1, b. TX Dau: Lura S, age 5/12 b. AL Gr Uncle Arch moved to Sand Mountain area of AL afterwards and is buried up there in Jackson Co, AL at New Caanen Baptist Church, per my Aunt. Could be a coincidence, but I don't think so, unless you have other corroborating evidence. Sherry W Horn
