CROOK, 87, of Wilson, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1996 at the Lane Nursing Home in Monette. Born May 28, 1909 in Tennessee, Ms. CROOK was a housewife and attended the Nodena Baptist Church. She is survived by Lawrence CROOK of Wilson, James CROOK of Wilson, Weldon CROOK of Scott City, Mo.; two daughters, Mary WALKER of Wilson, Betty TURNBOUGH of Conway; one sister, Katherine MAUPPINS of Wilson; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan A. CROOK, one son, Nathan Eugene CROOK, and one daughter, Dorothy DOVER. Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Roller-Swift Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
