Death was due to a sudden attack of apoplexy and the afflicted one succumbed at 9 o'clock. Mr.Knapp has been making his home with his son five miles northwest of Arcadia for the past two years and during his short residence there has made a host of friends, who were indeed shocked and deeply grieved at his sudden death and who extend to the bereaved family their heartfelt sympathies. THOMAS KNAPP was born in Michigan on December 21, 1833, and died at Arcadia, Nebraska, July 26, 1913, at the advanced age of seventy-six years, seven months and five days. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his sudden death. The funeral services were held at the Byron Knapp home on Tuesday and interment was made in Lee Park Cemetery.
