Henderson's name is a mystery just like the middle name Gilbert that I, my Dad and Grandpa had. Think I may have a lead on Gilbert .... there was a Mark Gilbert one page from Bailey Dover when he was in Coosa County, Alabama in 1850. This same Gilbert was in 1870 Etowah County, Alabama just a few miles from where my family were when they left in 1868. Feel pretty strongly about that because there were also Fielding or Appleton in the same area of Etowah at the same time.
