His father, Joshua, was in Greene Co, IN as early as 1820's. Read the information below and let me know if we are close on dates. I guess its possible that his second marriage was to Martha Bean. Greenbury Dover and his family moved to Jasper, Illinois at least by 1884 as his three daughters were married there according to FHL files (Vital Records).
