CALHOUN (Georgia) Tines, February 9, 1899: Mrs. Mary Dover, the mother of Samuel B. Dover, the inventor, died at her home in Calhoun last Thursday night at the advanced age of 81 years. Mrs. Dover was born in South Carolina in 1818. She moved to our state when about twenty years old and has been a resident since with the exception of seven years spent in Tennessee. She was buried at Antioch near here last Friday.--Adairsville Banner. Wayne Reeves
