Lou, I suppose you may have figured out that Hulda below is a Cross. Jesse and Hulda and Thomas and Jane were siblings that married four Dover siblings. There is rumor the Cross family was of Cherokee descent which is one reason there have been many claims submitted by Dovers (none approved so far) for Cherokee enrollment. There is a further rumor that the Cross' dad fought in the Revolutionary War.
