Hi, Bobby, Just read your message on 25 Feb 1999 about Columbus Dover and Arminda Shaddix. I descend from Robert Alexander Shaddix and Sarah Walden, and according to my research, their son was Robert Washington Shaddix, who had a daughter named Arminda Elizabeth. Also, I descend from David Washington Dover and Sarah Sparks, whose son David and Charlotte have a son that was identified as Columbus, age 12, on the 1880 Winston Co., AL census as "Columbus". Same child in 1870 census was identified as Wm H, 2 years old. Are we talking about the same Columbus (Wm H), and Arminda Shaddix? Sherry Worthy Horn
