I don't recall seeing this Dover at the Bureau of Land Management site before, but he's there now! Michael Dover Fulton County, Illinois 160 acres dated 10/06/1817 interesting document to view......shows he was in the 36th Regiment of Infantry (?) and it is signed by him with an "X" http://www.glorecords.blm.gov
