    3. Dennis, all the information I have so far, says that John T. is the son of Thomas P. Setliff/Sutliff. In 1850 Thomas and wife Margaret were in Murray County, Georgia. I think that Margaret was a Stafford and they were married in Surry Co. NC in 1845. In 1860 they were in Whitfield County, with John T. b. 1851. John T. married Nora Ophelia Dover in 1871 in Dalton, Whitfield Co. Georgia. In the 1880 census, they were in the Dalton Census and his occupation is listed as Rail Road Worker. I have been looking for information on the Forrest Dover who died in the mining accident in Alabama. I think that Nora O. is going to be part of that family. Because she named one of her sons Forrest, and another Frederick.
