I'm fairly certain A.B. was the son of Benjamin Wiley Dover, who was the son of William Dover and Alanthey Chambers (Forsyth County, Georgia, 1880). There are property records for both in Winston County, Alabama. Benjamin is one of the siblings for my great-grandfather, Frank or Francis M. Dover. Frank spent some time in Clay County Alabama around 1880, before moving to Bartow County, where he died at age 45 in 1888. Benjamin married Mary Lee in Dawson County, Georgia around 1870 (the same year his brother Frank married Hannah Wade in Lumpkin County). The 1870 census shows them newly wed and living in Blairsville (Union County), Georgia, both age 24. Benjamin Wiley is buried at the Liberty Baptist Church, Helicon, Winston County, Alabama. He died October 9, 1914. There are a number of other Dovers buried at the church, and I assume those are children. Junior Goodman probably gets his middle name from the youngest brother to Benjamin (Goodman H. Dover). I would appreciate any additional information you have on A.B.'s descendants.
