Jaynes on November 22, 1998 at 13:53:28: I am looking for information on my great-grandfather. His name was Peter Revod Born 1854. My granfather was only four years old in 1890 when they homesteaded 160 acres in North Alabama in what is now the Bankhead National Forrest. No one ever knew where they came from, but the kids have heard talk of Ponotoc Miss. and Tuscaloosa, Al. Some think Dover is the real name. His wife was Nancey Reed. Please help solve this mystery.
