I posted the English and Scots/Irish naming protocol last year. I can post again if anyone wants. Maybe we can find a naming pattern here from known family that will lead back a ways. I feel pretty strongly about the father of Francis Marion Dover. This BAILEY family is the only known Dover connection which "might" have something to do with the naming of at least three Dover given names.
