DOVER Lafayette Flix Dover, 83, Pittsburg, Mo., formerly of this area, died March 28, 1991, at a hospital in Springfield, Mo. He was born in Iatan in Platte County and lived in Lenexa for 17 years and in Stilwell in Johnson County for 31 years. He moved to Pittsburg in 1982. Mr. Dover was a groundskeeper for the Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club for 24 years before he retired. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Nettie Jane Dover of the home; four sons, Raymond Dover and Richard Dover of Kansas City, Donald Dover, Spring Hill in Johnson County, and John Dover, Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Iva Willeford, Pittsburg; a sister, Wavo Sams, Shawnee; 45 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
