Son: W., age 6, born AL. 9. Son: M., age 4, born AL. 10, Dau: N., age 4, born AL. "M", I can only assume is the child listed as "Thomas W" in 1870. "J" would have to be "Sarah S" in 1870. "Jonathan" doesn't appear on this census. The whole census was very poorly done. There were only initials used instead of given names, and I had a TERRIBLE time trying to read it! One Female unde 5. page 50 John Dover, age 50 - 60, 1 male age 10 - 15 1 female age 10 - 15 1 female age 15 - 20 1 female, age 50 - 60, wife Note: I believe this to be the same John Dover who is in Anderson Co., SC in 1830. Furthermore, I think he probably is the father of David Washington Dover who also appears on the Carroll Co. 1840 census. Does anyone know? 1830 South Carolina, Anderson Co.
