Dallas Brown, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will be officiating. Born in Cleveland County, N.C., Dover was president of Carolina-Cook Industries and one of its founders. He worked in the hosiery business since 1935. He was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Jessie Isley Dover; his daughter, Brenda D. Bolt of Lake Wylie, S.C.; his stepdaughter, Nancy Ann Crawford of the home; his son, Claude Franklin Dover Jr. of Clarksville, Va.; two sisters, Mary Morehead and Louise Roberts, both of Shelby, N.C.; his brother, Gene Dover of Shelby; and two stepgrandchildren.
