She was a native of Corinth, Miss., the widow of Wayne Alan Powell, and a member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church. Mrs. Powell was a teacher at Missionary Ridge School for 23 years. Survivors include one daughter, Lynn P. Kleinfelter, Knoxville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Patricia Dover-Bedwell officiating. ============== NOT A DOVER OBIT. THE MINISTER WAS A DOVER Earl Howe CLEVELAND, Tenn. _ Earl Howe died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 87. Arrangements will be announced by Grissom Funeral Home. Mary Jackson DALTON, Ga. _ Mary Taylor Jackson died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 84. She was a native of Blount County, Tenn., and the widow of John V. Jackson. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Woods and Annie Mae Bright, Dalton, and Racheal Ausmus; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Services will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cochran and the Rev. Crafton Dover officiating. Box 5, Lupton City, TN 37351. ============ Archie Dover LaFAYETTE, Ga. _ the Rev. Archie Dover died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was 51. He was a member of New Harvest Baptist Church, an employee of Mt. Vernon Mills and a Vietnam veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Payne Dover. Survivors include his wife, Zora Smith Dover, LaFayette; father, Tiny Dover, Trion, Ga.; two sons, Bradley Dover, LaFayette, and Tracy Dover, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Kay Bomar, Ringgold, Ga., and Nell Bryan, LaFayette; four brothers, Jimmy and Willis Dover, both of Trion, Ga.; Marion Dover, LaFayette, and Aaron Dover, Cartersville, Ga.; and two grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Staton and the Rev. Kenneth Jennings officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
