Burial will be at the church cemetery. Born in York, Mr. Martin was an Air Force veteran, an employee of Faulkner's Well Drilling and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Martin; three stepsons, Johnny Walker of Blacksburg and Daniel Walker and Tim Walker, both of Smyrna; his stepdaughter, Myra Goodman of Kentucky; four brothers, Henry Martin of Blacksburg, J.D. Martin and W.T. Martin, both of Smyrna, and Charlie Martin of Kings Creek; three sisters, Marjorie Mullinax and Lorene Dover, both of Kings Creek, and Betty Kelumber of Florida; nine step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Hodge of Bakersville, Calif.; 37 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
