Well everyone, I got the best surprise tonight. I had been searching for some information on Grandpa's( John Frank Dover) sister Martha Dover Mcabb. I had joined the McNabb list, because she married a McNabb. I thought I would not come up with anything. BUT I DID!!! One of the list members got in touch with one of their daughters who told them all of this below. The Lily Jo F_____ is the lady who named me in 1954. She was Lily Jo Filer. Ain't this great. Dover Oct 3, 1915, d/o Henry Dover and America Shrader, died April 2, 1983. Children: 1. Edna McNabb. Born in Alabama, is 82 years old, married Willis Richie. 2. Herron Clifford McNabb, born in Hamilton County, 23 May 1918, Died 5 March 1923. 3. Eastly McNabb, born in Hamilton County, married Lily Jo F______. Is about 77 years old. 4. Ray Alfred McNabb, born at Kelly's Ferry, Hamilton County, married Grace McDonald. Don't know age. Edna said their house burned after their mother died, and all their records were lost. 5. Freddie McNabb (deceased), Born at Kelly's Ferry, married Pat (Carolyn) Sewell. 6. Hoyt McNabb, 63 years of age, married Mildred Wilson. In searching for one of Crandel's uncle's grave, we went to the cemetery on Aetna Mountain where George and Vina Houts McNabb are buried. George was born in 1868, died 1941. Vina Houts McNabb was born 1879, died 1944. I hope this information is what your friend needs. If I can help again, let me know.
