MARTHA E., 83, of Route 4, Cummings Highway, died Monday in a South Pittsburg, Tenn., hospital. She . was a member of Lookout Valley Church of w God of Prophecy. Survivors include her husband, Fred McNabb; four sons, Eastley , Roy and Hoyt McNabb, all of Chattanooga, and Freddie McNabb, Alabama; daughter, Mrs. Edna Richie, Chattanooga; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1 p.m. f Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. L.P. Goins officiating. Burial will be in McNabb Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Chattanooga Funeral Home, West Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave. This is Martha Dover McNabb, the only sibling of my grandfather that I ever knew. She was a colorful lady who could tell you off in a second and preach a sermon the next. She was a good person and if I had any sense when I was in college I would have visited her. She would have been a wealth of family information. Hindsight is always 20-20 though it seems. Also with this feel free to share with other list who may benefit or other people.
