His parents were Madison M. Dover and Francis L. Gilliland. Her parents were Rosa Dell Beck and James (or Joseph, depending on which census you look at) Freeman. We know that based on her brothers and sisters being in census listings with them. The only census record we have had posted on the Dover list for Robert L. Dover is the 1930 census. A number of Dover researchers have been searching for the 1920 census (just before Madison died), and have not found the family on any census. 1930 Joppa, Pct. 21, Cullman Co., AL 4-7-1930, pg. 37A 54-55 General T.
