Edward Dover Sr. CLOVER -- Mr. Edward "Dinky" Dean Dover Sr., 58, of 106 Hopper St. died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bratton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Milton Smith officiating. Burial will be at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery, Smyrna. A native of Clover, Mr. Dover was a son of the late William Grady Dover Sr. and Orie Bradley Dover. He was employed by Sterlin Racks of Gastonia, N.C. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Dover; two sons, Edward Dover Jr. of York and Dwayne Dover of Clover; his stepson, Shaun Stewart of York; four brothers, William Dover of Blacksburg, Roy Dover of Smyrna, Melvin Dover of York and Ronnie Dover of Clover; six sisters, Mary Kale of Clover, Aileen Bell and Anne Batchler, both of Blacksburg, Betty Brazwell and Ellen Costner, both of Clover, and Joyce Bolin of Filbert; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
