Got to comment on this one. A. J. Dover was Andrew James Dover. He was the father of Harry James Dover who lives in Asheville, NC. Harry is well into his 80's now. If ever there was a really nice "character," Harry's the one. He never knew who his great grandfather was (Edmund). He lives near another Dover who is a descendant of Elijah & Martha Duckett Dover.
