The Joshua Dover headright is probably the one I found several years ago at the GA Archives. There was only one piece of paper in the folder. (This folder had to be "called for" and was in the locked area upstairs in the old Archives. I have not been to the new facility...it is way outside of Atlanta and not nearly as convenient as the old building.) The one piece of paper reads: " I do appoint and constitute (?) __Dunkin my lawfull attorney to appear before the Govener and Executives Council to git out my warrant as though I was personly present. Given from under my hand this 16 Day may 1784. signed Joshua Dover, witnessed by John Parker and John Childires (?)". Janelle
