I searched the Dover list archives and didn't find any remarks for the above individual other than the posting of a marriage record. Mary Dover married William F. Owens August 2, 1846 in Habersham County, Georgia. In 1850, there is a William F. Owens with a wife named Mary, age 25, living next door to Frederick and Jane Dover and their many children. I had a note in my records that there was a daughter in the household of Fred and Jane in 1830 in Rutherford County in the 5 year old range, but just assumed the daughter passed away.. Mary would fit within this range, and the only other candidate would have been Elvira who appears to be 18 in 1850. They had a daughter named Elizabeth who was one year old.
