I would like to share with anyone on the list who is connected to this family. What we REALLY need is to know where Alfred's family was in 1880. He had not married yet and had several brothers and sisters still at home. His father was William Alfred Dover. So far we cannot located him in the 1880 census. I think they were hiding :-) Living next to Daniel Shrader who was Missouri's father, and next to Daniel was his daughter Amanda married to David Garren. The Shraders and the Dovers are intertwined a lot in this area.
