    3. A Joshua Dover married "Passy" Rice in Roane County, TN on September 7 (or 11) 1813. Roane County, Tennessee records show a marriage of a "Dice" (or Dicey) Rice to Richard Dover on July 13, 1812. James Rice was bondsman. I don't think this Joshua would be the son of Joshua Dover born early 1750's in Orange County, NC, but I assume he was a grandson? However, some Dover males have been known to procreate into their 70's. These two may be sons of John Dover, Jr. who is mentioned in the Will of Isaac Rice. Any thoughts from the List? ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2004 8:06 PM Subject: [Dover] Re: DOVER-D Digest V04 #6 > In a message dated 1/6/2004 8:01:24 PM US Eastern Standard Time, > [email protected] writes: > In 1812-1813, a Richard Dover and Joshua Dover appear in the marriage > records of Roane County, TN. > Who did this Joshua Dover marry? > > Thanks > Pam > > ______________________________
