I could not find the 3 year old John F. Dover in subsequent census records, so I don't know what might have happened to him. I also could not find Frederick in 1860, at least not by that name. I found several James Dover records but none of the birthdates are exact enough so that I know I have the correct one. Is there anyone on the list who believes they may descend from this line who has better details?
