This past summer, I found some more interesting court records in York Co. SC, such as the following: October term 1832.  John McGill, Jiney Childers, Nancy Childers, Barsheba Martin, and Mannon Martin, and John Mullinax, Michael Martin bound in a case of petty larceny against Esther Dickson.  True Bill  (This one was in real bad shape...very fragile and faded.)   July 27, 1839  Shadrac Dover assault on Esther A. Dickson.  Flip side has Esther Dickson and Margaret Dickson.  No Bill.  (not much in this file.)   July 1854  Michael Hambright accused Shadrick Dover of perjury in a militia election.  Michael claimed Shad had been living in NC for the last 6 or 8 months.  (Don't know the outcome, this one was in real bad shape.) Note: "Barsheba" Martin is possibly a daughter of Hezekiah Dover. The records I saw were originals and so were in various stages of readable. Janelle Dixon
