The Cullman Tribune 4-3-2003 Mr. James Elbert (Buddy) Dover, age 73, of Jones Chapel, died on March 24, 2003, at his residence. He was born on October 29, 1929. He was predeceased by one son, James Paul Dover and by his parents Hughey and Zula Mae Freeman Dover. Mr. Dover was a veteran of the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services were held on March 26, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at Cathedral of Praise Church of God, with interment in Vance Family Cemetery, at Jones Chapel. Reverend Jerry Fleming officiated, with Moss Service Funeral Home directing. Survivors include: his wife, Inez Vance Dover, of Jones Chapel; a son, Daniel Dover, of Birmingham; three daughters, Martha Chandler, of Clay, Eva Mae Sherrell, of Hayden and Susan Hackney, of Cullman; two brothers; six sisters; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
