    3. Terry, you sure cut that one close. William was two months old in the 1930 census son of C. H. & Gussie Dover in Blountsville. I can't find Columbus in the 1920 Alabama (or Blount) census but he shows up in John T & Alice Dover's 1900 and 1910 Blount census. Columbus is buried in the same cemetery with his parents. One of the things that I always marvel about is how those of you who did some research came up with all the different info that you did. I have my set little pattern of checking things ... and I know that I would not have come up with all the same info that you guys did. Good things happen when you're not the lone ranger. Thank you. I may be totally out in left field about the possibility of John T. Dover being the son Jackson Dover in York, but there's a chance to find family info and maybe the willingness of William's son DeLaine to do the DNA test. We have a volunteer that can contact the family. Are there any list members who would be willing to contribute to the cost of the 25 marker DNA test in the event that the cost is a problem? Please contact me.
