Asa Augustus "Gus" Dover was the s/o James Dover / Martha Moss. Martha had 4 children with this James Dover of unknown parentage. The 4th child was actually born a few months after his death. The widow Martha (Moss) Dover then md Willis Dover who was the son of John Dover / Elizabeth __? of York Co, SC. Martha (Moss) Dover-Dover then had 3 more children with # 2 husband Willis Dover. A number of years ago, I was in contact with a lady in Charlotte, NC who is connected to this line who sent me very ample info on both the Dover and connecting Thornburg. If you would have this person contact me directly, I'll see what I can do to help fill them in on their family. I don't have any of this line in the computer, so it's not just a simple matter of posting the data. Laura Lamby Wentz was still alive at that time and helped with the data, if I remember correctly. I have dob & dod dates for most all of this older family as well as on the Thornburg family.
