Burnette of Chattanooga, died unexpectedly on Thursday in New York. Funeral and burial were Saturday in Baltimore. He was 67 years old , He was born and reared in Chattanooga. Survivors other than his aunt are a son Eugene Dover Jr., and a granddaughter, both of New York City. Bruce should be the son of William E. Dover and Rosa M. Unknown. I find them in the 1930 census in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., NC . Dover Wm. E. age 26, b. June 1873 born NC, father NC, mother Ky, Clerk Ex-Co Dover, Rosa M. age 20, b. Feb 1880 b. NC, father NC, mother NY, mother of 1/1 living Dover, Bruce E., age 3 b, June 1896, b. TN, father TN, mother, NC Parents had been married 4 years So far I cannot place who Bruce's father belongs to.
