    3. This is the first time I have tried to respond to one of the DOVER-L mailing list, but i had to thank you Pam for the three items from the Sikeston Herald. Giles Dover was my father, Harry my uncle, Joe and Charlotte my first cousins, and, of course, J.E. Dover was my grandfather. I would certainly enjoy hearing from anyone else from that branch of the family. John R. 3. Folks, This is something that really frustrates me. We know there are folks out in the cob webs of the list. But to be honest, we can't help if we don't know what you're looking for. John just happened to hit it lucky because I'm sure Pam was posting little snippets of information she'd come across. There's not much purpose of ferreting out information on Dover families in South Dakota at this time if no one on our current list is connected to South Dakota. Now, if we have a dozen members connected to Colorado, that's a different story. But we need to know where our efforts are needed. My point is, we'd like to hear from you. We'd like to hear your horror stories of research experiences. We'd like to hear your success stories. What resources have you used to get you to the point you're at? What documents do you have passed down from Grandma that helped prove Aunt Suzie and Uncle Dick were married in the burned courthouse county? OK, I'm off my soap box for now. 3. My Dover family come from Westmorland to Wales to NY to Iowa to Nebraska. It's the William Dover and Hannah Lamb family which I recently posted to the list. That's all from this spider.
